Sega has officially revealed Like a Dragon 8, the next game in the Yakuza series, releasing on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC in 2024.
The reveal trailer is short and sharp, giving us a look at Ichiban Kasuga (the protagonist of Yakuza: Like a Dragon) and Kazuma Kiryu (the main protagonist of the series), who is sporting a slick new sliver haircut. Like A Dragon 8 will continue the trend that the most recent release set, being a turn-based RPG rather than an action brawler.
It’s worth noting that the series is seemingly moving away from the Yakuza name, instead taking up the Like a Dragon title that the franchise uses in Japan.
