Marvel’s Avengers Release Has Been Pushed To September

Another delay from Square Enix

Alongside the news this morning that Final Fantasy VII Remake would be delayed, Square Enix’s other AAA release for 2020, Marvel’s Avengers, has also been delayed.

Via a blog post, Crystal Dynamics stated:

At Crystal Dynamics our ambition has always been to deliver the ultimate Avengers gaming experience. In order to achieve that goal, we have made the difficult decision to move the release date of Marvel’s Avengers to September 4, 2020.

A pretty lengthy delay for a highly anticipated title, but all we can do is trust that this delay will benefit for the game overall.

The full blog post from Crystal Dynamics about the delay can be read here.
