May 2023’s PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe Catalogue Update Has Been Revealed

A huge month

I’m sure everyone with a handheld and a pulse will be playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (which we gave a 10), but if you’re like me, Switch-less and senseless, you’ll be turning to PlayStation Plus to find an in-between game to play. April’s catalogue update brought with it Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Doom Eternal, among other great titles, but this month leaves it in the dust, in my humble and often incorrect opinion.

As announced on the PlayStation Blog, an update to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue for Extra and Deluxe members is coming, adding 23 new titles to the Extra and Deluxe tiers on May 16.

Here are all of the games being added to the PlayStation Plus Catalogue in May 2023:

PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe

  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
  • Humanity
  • Watch Dogs: Legion
  • Dishonered 2
  • Dishonered: Death of the Outsider
  • Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin
  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider
  • Bus Simulator 21: Next Stop
  • The Evil Within 2
  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood
  • Thymesia
  • Rain World
  • Lake
  • Conan Exiles
  • Rune Factory 4 Special
  • Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town
  • Soundfall

PlayStation Plus Deluxe Games

  • Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow (PS4/PS5)
  • Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light (PS4/PS5)
  • Pursuit Force (PS4/PS5)
  • Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered (PS4)

Having an excellent, crowd-pleasing game hit the service that will appeal to just about everyone is a huge deal. But, outside of Bus Simulator 21: Next Stop, we’re also getting Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (which we gave a 9.5) and Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin (which we gave a 10). Better yet, Humanity is hitting the service on the day of release, so we can all play as Shibas together. Mint.
