Mortal Kombat 1 Players Have Mastered Teabagging With Godly Speed

Gives new meaning to the term ‘speedbagging’

Look, it wasn’t that long ago that I was in awe at how Mortal Kombat 1 was managing to break new ground in relation to things like hiding load screens, propping up second-string characters and redefining the cruel torment of being tea-bagged in a game.

But clearly I was too quick to open my stupid mouth; because where there is a will – there is a way.

With the Mortal Kombat 1 online stress test underway, some of the more astute players have innovated the ancient art of the teabag.

…With terrifying results:

Almost crueller than a fatality, above we see Sub Zero mercilessly mash that bag – until his opponent’s spirit leaves its mortal coil.

In Mortal Kombat 1, a repeated input of the down arrow will actually perform a short animation-locked taunt – as a way to perhaps address the disrespect found in some online matches. However, the mechanically gifted among us realise that you can simply alternate the inputs of down and then a left or right direction to basically “teabag dash” – Creating something far more terrifying than the humble teabag. Basically, the ability to disrespect your opponent has been turned into a skill check.

It’s awe inspiring in concept – and hilarious in execution. I welcome this new era of wave-dashing testicle taunts, if only because of the absurdity of it all.

How do you feel about this blisteringly fast application of balls? Is this the final form of the teabag? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
