Netherrealm Studios has revealed that the first Kombat Pack DLC for Mortal Kombat 1 will include guest fighters Homelander, Omni-Man and Peacemaker, as well as returning Mortal Kombat characters Quan Chi, Ermac and Takeda.
Well, it looks like the leaks from Amazon Italy were 100% on the money. During San Diego Comic-Con, Netherrealm dropped a short-but-sweet new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1, revealing the roster for the game’s first DLC pack. The return of Takeda, Quan Chi and Ermac would be enough to celebrate, but it’s the guest fighters that will really turn heads.
Homelander, the milk-loving, curse-dropping dick from The Boys, will be bringing his star-spangled self to the roster, featuring the likeness of Antony Starr from the hit TV adaptation. Staying with lads with Superman-like abilities, Omni-Man from Invincible will also be making an appearance with his iconic outfit and even more iconic Viltrumite moustache. Rounding out the guest fighter trio is Peacemaker in all of his John Cena garish outfit glory. While they all sit on different points on the moral spectrum, all three of these crossover characters are viciously brutal, so they’ll be right at home mixing it up in MK.
Good lord, I can’t wait to see what fatalities those three have in store for us.

This wasn’t the only MK1 reveal to happen at SDCC, with the Umgadi trailer giving us a look at four returning fighters that are joining the roster.
