Neon White Blasts Onto PlayStation December 13

A new place to play your cards right

One of 2022’s best Indie titles, Neon White, will be making its way across to a whole new platform when it arrives on PS5 and PS4 December 13.

The news comes via a blog post by game director Ben Esposito, who also confirmed some nifty new features to make the most of the jump to the PS5. Along with support for the console’s adaptive triggers and gyroscope options, you can expect first-person puzzler to run at a blistering 120hz on the current gen console.

“Neon White is all about speed, so one of our highest priorities was performance,” explains Esposito, “It was important to us that the PlayStation 5 version runs at 120hz across the board. When precision matters, the high framerate makes a difference.”

Neon White launched earlier this year on Switch and PC, and perhaps it was only a matter of time before it made the logical jump to the newer generation of consoles. Our review (written by yours truly) praised the game’s sense of speed and creativity, saying “It’s a ride that’s worth playing, whether to appreciate its finely tuned level design, its enjoyable narrative or that sense of accomplishment when you best a run on the first try.” I also had the privilege of chatting to Esposito after the initial release and will take full credit for putting the idea of adaptive trigger support into his head. You can check that out below.
