For a while there things had gone pretty dark around Russian developer Mundfish’s upcoming Soviet-era horror FPS Atomic Heart. That is, until now, with the debut of a brand-new gameplay trailer and some solid new details courtesy of the studio and IGN.
The ‘Meet Plyush’ trailer shows off some of the game’s unsettling environments and robotic characters, as well as a mini-boss fight with an intensely creepy monster called Plyush. It also brings with it the reveal of a collaboration with none other than Mick Gordon for the game’s music, which is a huge deal. You can hear a sampling of this in the trailer itself.
Mundfish also spoke to IGN about the targeted release platforms, stating that although the game will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One it’s primarily a next-gen game and will feature no loading screens and stunning visuals on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
