New Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Trailer Reveals Female Lombax’s Name, State Of Play Coming This Week

Surprise! After teasing fans for the longest time, Insomniac Games has not only revealed the name of the playable female Lombax in the upcoming PS5 exclusive, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, but they’ve dropped a brand-new gameplay trailer showcasing her in action! Meet Rivet:

Not only does the new trailer look absolutely phenomenal, it also features the song ‘Uncontrollable Urge’ by DEVO, the band co-founded by the game’s now-revealed composer – the one and only Mark Mothersbaugh. That news comes via the PlayStation Blog, which also features three tracks from the game’s original score to treat your ears with:

But wait, there’s more – a new State of Play will air this week, on Friday April 30 at 7AM AEST for us Aussies. It’ll feature more on Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart as well as two mysterious ‘indie titles’. Set your alarms, Ratchet fans!

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart comes to PlayStation 5 exclusively this June 11. Don’t forget that you can pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition on the PlayStation Store to receive in-game goodies including five special armour sets which have now been revealed. Check ’em out:
