The PlayStation State Of Play pumped out some great new information about titanic AAA titles, but a slightly smaller something was also snuck out.
A ‘Gameplay Reveal’ trailer was also showcased for Wayfinder, a wild and colourful co-op experience from some of the cool creative cats behind Darksiders:

It’s a rapid fire introduction to the shattered world of Evenor – a world not really constrained to regular rules. Arcanists apparently shape this strange place in whatever way best suits them, meaning things can get pretty whacky. This is also manifested by players being able to explore “Lost Zones” when they desire an outing. Neat!
The trailer also gives us a teeny smidge of insight on some of the playable characters – covering a Barbarian (Senja), Ranger (Silo) and Knight (Wingrave). Each class is set around a specific playstyle and personality, with Senja and Wingrave both representing a melee ‘Warmaster’ focus, and Silo being referred to as a ‘Ranged Technician’.
I absolutely adore this aesthetic, and I am hungry to see more – and perhaps even dip my toe into the games upcoming Beta opportunity on February 28.
You can register at playwayfinder.com for a chance to play in the Beta experience – best of luck!
