Night School Studio’s Afterparty Finally Has A Release Date

Hell of a party

Night School Studio, developers of the fantastic Oxenfree, have finally announced the release date for their upcoming Satanic drinking game, Afterparty. That date is October 29, 2019.

In Afterparty, best friends Milo and Lola find themselves, well, dead and in Hell. There they decide that the best way to not spend an eternity in torture and anguish is to make friends with the denizens of the underworld and network their way to the top: Satan himself. Then all they’ll need to do to earn their re-entry to Earth is out drink the Devil. Simple enough, right?

The studio’s director, Sean Krankel, shared a ton of new details around the game with PlayStation Blog, including why the studio went with two protagonists, how the game itself is structured and some of the activities you’ll undertake while you party in hell. It’s well worth a read for anyone interested and I’m now more excited than ever.

To top it off, there’s a sweet dynamic theme on the way that’ll turn fans PS4 dashboards into their own demonic pub!

Afterparty comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 29, 2019.
