Hey, we’ve all got a lot on this month, so let’s agree that I should skip my usual prelude banter and just get straight into the games, yeah? No, it doesn’t have anything to do with the spot-on leak revealing all of the PS Plus games early, robbing me of my monthly fun. That’s completely unrelated and I’m offended that you thought so little of me. Anyway, last month we got a fairly middle-of-the-road update, so all eyes are on October to reinvigorate our excitement. Does it achieve that? You be the judge.
As announced on the PlayStation Blog, an update to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue for Extra and Deluxe members is coming, adding 15 new titles to the Extra and Deluxe tiers, starting on October 17.

Okay, let’s address the big bat in the room, Gotham Knights isn’t my favourite Batman or Batman-adjacent title and I don’t think it’ll be yours either (we gave it a 5). In saying that, the sting is lessened when you’re not specifically paying for it, so if you want to bomb around Gotham on the Batcycle for a bit, you might enjoy yourself. What you should be looking to do, is get in a spooky mood, dim the lights and play some Alien Isolation. Will you piss yourself? Probably, but it’ll be worth it.
