September 2023’s PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe Catalogue Update Has Been Revealed

I hope you like Star Ocean

It’s been a bit of a tumultuous few weeks for PlayStation Plus subscribers. On the same day that a less-than-stellar Essentials update was revealed, headlined by Saints Row, PlayStation announced a price hike for 12-month subscriptions. What we could do with is a banger September update for the Extra catalogue to correct the course somewhat, though it’s a big ask to follow up from last month’s offering. It will depend on your taste, obviously, but there are fewer blockbusters in September’s update, though that’s not to say it’s a dud.

As announced on the PlayStation Blog, an update to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue for Extra and Deluxe members is coming, adding 20 new titles to the Extra and Deluxe tiers, starting on September 19.

PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe

  • NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139
  • 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
  • Sid Meier’s Civilization VI
  • Star Ocean The Divine Force
  • Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2
  • Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
  • Unpacking
  • Planet Coaster: Console Edition
  • This War of Mine: Final Cut
  • Cloudpunk
  • Contra: Rogue Corps
  • Tails Noir
  • Call of the Sea
  • West of Dead
  • Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness
  • PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls

PlayStation Plus Deluxe Games

  • Star Ocean First Departure R
  • Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
  • Star Ocean: The Last Hope – 4K & FHD Remaster
  • Dragon’s Crown Pro

If you’re a Star Ocean fan, you’re eating well this month, with six titles from the series hitting the service. NieR Replicant would be the other big-ticket time here, and we enjoyed the remake, giving it an 8.5.

What do you think of this update to the catalogue? What games would you like to see added next? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
