Developers People Can Fly are responsible for the decent spin-off title, Gears of War: Judgment as well as the unique and entertaining, Bulletstorm, but we haven’t heard much from them since 2013, outside of a remaster here and there. This obviously changed at E3 2019 when their new project, Outriders got a snazzy cinamatic trailer filled with mystery, action and the promise of a 2020 release on PS4 and Xbox One.
People Can Fly have clearly been busy since E3, as we have been gifted with a fresh trailer that gives us a few new story details, a better look at the world of Enoch as well as a few snippets of actual gameplay scattered throughout. More importantly than any of this, the trailer confirms that Outriders will not only be launching on PS4 and Xbox One, but also the PS5 and Xbox Series X (and PC of course).
Take a look at the trailer below:

Personally, though the first trailer was cool, it didn’t exactly set my world on fire. With this new trailer, as well as confirmation that it is going next gen, that definitely looks to change. Outriders is set to release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC in late 2020.
But what do you think? Are you keen for Outriders? Are you glad that it’s heading to next gen consoles? Let us know.
