Developer Kinetic Games has announced that smash hit horror game Phasmophobia will be releasing on PS5, PSVR 2 and Xbox Series X|S in early access in August.
Announced during the Xbox Games Extended Showcase, we got a brief trailer that showed off the atmospheric gameplay and highlighted the key features of the game. Currently available on Steam via early access, Phasmophobia is a four-player co-op horror title that challenges a player-controlled team of paranormal investigators to enter a haunted location, use a range of ghost-hunting equipment and gather evidence on the supernatural spectre.
Once it hits consoles, the game will include ten explorable locations and 24 unique ghosts to hunt/be hunted by. If you’re already playing on PC or want to play with friends that are, then you’re in luck, as the game will feature full cross-play.
