Earlier today at the 2016 Game Awards, Bethesda showed off some new footage of its upcoming sci-fi first-person shooter, Prey. The video that aired was merely a teaser to a juicier video intended to be released later in the day which Bethesda have now released.
The latest video is an eight minute gameplay walkthrough with Creative Director Raphael Colantonio and Lead Designer Ricardo Bare. The video gives viewers the chance to go on board the overrun Talos space station and see how the world of Prey will work, with players given the freedom to complete missions however they choose. Prey, which is in development by Arkane Studios is a reboot of the Prey IP, with Bethesda’s Prey 2 being scrapped in 2014 after failing to meet the publisher’s quality standards. Prey will release for PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.
