Rebel Wolves Unveils The Musical Theme And Cover Art For The Blood Of Dawnwalker

It’s looking bloody good

Developer Rebel Wolves has released the main musical theme and cover art for its upcoming action RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker.

Celebrating a calendar year since The Blood of Dawnwalker was revealed to the world, Rebel Wolves has released a launch-year video to thank its patient fanbase and unveil a few tidbits from the studio’s debut title, set to launch in 2026. Firstly, the game’s main musical theme was revealed through an orchestral performance. Seeing as the studio’s co-founder and creative director, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, was the director for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it won’t shock you when the tune strikes you as familiar, down to the rhythmic chanting and grand drums and strings. In any event, the theme certainly sets the tone for Blood of Dawnwalker, and it gets the blood pumping. Huh, maybe that’s what the vampires in the game want to happen when you listen to this theme. Oh no.

The video also reveals the game’s cover art, which depicts the protagonist, Coen, brandishing a sword and showing off some nasty vampire claws and markings. The artwork leans into a warm orange colour palette, thanks to the solar eclipse taking place behind our dual-fated main man. It gives the anticipated RPG a nice visual identity, and more importantly, just looks pretty damn rad. To round out the video, we got a blink-and-you ll-miss-it gameplay teaser that showed off a few toothy characters doing some suspect things with blood, as well as Coen traversing a mix of different environments. It’s truly a tiny little glimpse, but, at this juncture, I’ll take anything to tide me over while I wait to get my hands on the game.
