Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s Final Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Rancors, Coruscant And Heaps More

The hype is off the scale

EA and Respawn Entertainment have published the final gameplay trailer for the upcoming title, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The two-minute trailer may be relatively brief, but it’s absolutely packed with action and teases for what’s to come. Not only do we see the hardened Cal Kestis whipping out new abilities and lightsaber stances, but we also get a glimpse at the new locales found in the sequel. A scene on a barren desert planet has Cal battling it out with a Scout Trooper while on a speeder, which is awesome, but it doesn’t compare to the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it look at Coruscant and the once-great Jedi Temple.

While we don’t know much in the way of specifics, Jedi: Survivor Director Stig Asmussen did confirm during day three of the Star Wars Celebration, prior to revealing this trailer, that Coruscant would be a playable location. “We’re taking our Metroidvania approach a step further and, just to talk about another planet, we’re going to have Coruscant as well.”
