Konami has announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will be releasing on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC on August 30.
The Cowabunga Collection brings together 13 classic TMNT games that were originally released on arcade and NES, through to Sega Genesis and Gameboy. Developer Digital Eclipse has not only brought these beat ’em ups onto modern hardware, but they’ve also included a number of quality-of-life features such as button mapping, anytime saving and a rewind function.

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Super Nintendo) [1991]
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Super Nintendo) [1993]
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis) [1992]
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis) [1993]
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy) [1990]
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy) [1991]

There’s been quite a bit of love for the Heroes in a Half-Shell as of late, with the excellent Shredder’s Revenge launching late last month to a widely positive reception. We had this to say in our review: “Reliving the classic arcade games with a whole new lens made me smile from ear to ear, but newcomers and youngsters alike should find Story Mode a good way to introduce themselves to the wild, brawler antics.
