Publisher BANDAI NAMCO has announced that Tekken 8 will release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on January 26, 2024.
The Tekken 8 release date trailer debuted during this morning’s Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation, lifting the lid on when we can expect to play the latest instalment in the long-running fighting series. This new trailer also highlights a new single-player mode coming to Tekken 8, known as Arcade Quest. This mode asks players to create a chibi avatar before embarking on a little campaign that sees you going head-to-head with other chibi characters in an arcade setting, complete with tournaments and social interactions.
Lastly, the trailer confirms that Tekken 8 will launch with a roster of 32 fighters, with Yoshimitsu, Kuma, Dragunov and a few others popping up during the three-minute trailer.
