The Callisto Protocol Launch Trailer Is Here And It’s Gory And Glorious

Welcome to Black Iron

Developer Striking Distance Studios has dropped the launch trailer for The Callisto Protocol ahead of the game’s December 2 release.

The two-minute trailer introduces us to protagonist Jacob Lee, voiced by Josh Duhamel, and supporting characters Karen Fukuhara and Leon Ferris, voiced by Karen Fukuhara and Sam Witwer, respectively. More than that, we’re made familiar with Black Iron Prison, the savage institute on Jupiter’s moon of Callisto that acts as the game’s setting, and the monstrosities that have awakened within.

Scored by the new Kings Elliot song Lost Again, which was written and recorded for the game, the trailer also shows us plenty of bloody action and horror that will unfold within Black Iron, with some truly nasty enemies attempting to turn Jacob into a paste.

If you’re looking forward to The Callisto Protocol and want to get prepped for the horror, I would highly recommend the prequel podcast Helix Station. Currently, there are five episodes available, with the sixth and final episode releasing this Friday.
