Casting announcements, set photos, confirmation of production, everything is kicking off where HBO’s The Last of Us TV show is concerned. The latest update on this exciting adaptation gives us an idea of how committed we’d have to be to binge the season in a day, and it comes straight from Writer and Producer, Craig Mazin.
Culture Crave noticed that, while talking on the Scriptnotes Podcast, Mazin revealed that season one of the show will feature 10 episodes that will each run for an hour.

During the podcast, Mazin also touched on some of the obstacles that they’re needing to overcome when it comes to production, namely the limited amount of time they’re afforded to shoot at night as the show is being filmed in Calgary. According to Mazin, the show will predominantly be set during the day, as Calgary only allows for around “four and a half hours of proper dark” to shoot in.
