The Last Of Us Part I Gets A Free Two-Hour Game Trial For PlayStation Plus Deluxe Members

PlayStation has announced that a free two-hour game trial for The Last of Us Part I is now available to download for PlayStation Plus Deluxe members.

This game trial coincides with the debut of HBO’s The Last of Us series, with the first episode airing on Binge this Monday. The two-hour runtime allows players to experience the game’s opening and see some familiar faces from the series.

A remake of the original game, The Last of Us Part I brings the beginning of Joel and Ellie’s journey up to the standard of the sequel. In our review, we said, “While the original will always have its place in the hearts of many players, The Last of Us Part I is the definitive way to experience the beginning of Joel and Ellie’s journey, even if the price is a little steep.” We gave the game a 9.

As for the HBO series, we said in our review that “HBO’s The Last of Us is a faithful retelling of its source material for better or worse. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey excel in this uneven but loyal adaptation of an iconic game.” We gave the series a 7.
