The latest PS5 system update has dropped today, adding 1440p resolution support, Gamelists (also known as folders), new social features, the ability to compare 3D and stereo audio and more.
1440p support has been a long-requested feature so it’s great that it’s finally here, while Gamelists will allow players to collate up to 100 games on 15 different Gamelists. New social features will include the ability to request Share Screen from a party member, easier viewing of friends profiles and faster access to a friend’s game.
Sony also announced some new mobile app features such as launching a PS Remote Play session through PS App and Share Screen requests. For the full breakdown check out the PlayStation Blog post.
