CD Projekt Red has announced that the next-gen update for The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt will go live on December 14.
Originally scheduled for release in 2021 before seeing multiple delays, the next-gen update will be free for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC players who already own the original game.
The update has the expected visual and technical enhancements, as well as ray tracing support, faster load times, mod integration and more. Alongside the update will be a free DLC pack that adds weapons and armour inspired by the Netflix series. If you don’t own the game, a Complete Edition will be available for purchase digitally that includes the game, both story expansions and all free DLC.
We will also be getting a gameplay reveal and further details next week during a REDstreams on the CD Projekt Red Twitch channel.
