Xbox has announced the 20th Anniversary Special Edition Controller and Stereo Headset that both feature transparent designs. Both accessories are releasing on November 15.
Revealed on Xbox Wire, the 20th Anniversary Special Edition Controller sports a transparent black finish that shows off silver internals. Naturally, as it’s celebrating the release of the OG Xbox, the controller features the iconic shade of green on the back grips, around the D-pad and on the Xbox button itself.
As a cheekily added bonus, when you connect this 20th Anniversary Controller to an Xbox Series X/S, you’ll unlock an exclusive 20th Aniversarry dynamic background. The controller will set you back AU$99 and is currently available to pre-order through JB Hi-Fi.
The 20th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox Stereo Headset features the same black finish and silver internals, with green accents found around the earcups and on the mic. The Stereo Headset will cost you AU$99.95 and will likely be hitting retailers, but for now, you can pre-order it through the Xbox Store.
Xbox announced yesterday that they were partnering with Adidas to release 20th Anniversary sneakers and now these two accessories pop up, so it looks like they’re going all out for their OG console’s birthday.
