Broken Roads Has Been Given A New Release Date And It’s Just Over The Horizon

All roads lead to April

Developer Drop Bear Bytes has announced that the Aussie RPG Broken Roads will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on April 10, with a Switch release to follow later.

After being hit with a delay just a week before its initial November 2023 release date, the narrative-driven RPG is now on track to hit consoles and PC early next month. Set in a post-apocalyptic Australia, players will be forced to make complex moral decisions, using a classless system based around the tenants of Humanist, Utilitarian, Machiavellian, and Nihilist. While the game’s primary focus is to engage in conversations, players will also take part in challenging turn-based combat in the barren Aussie outback.

In the lead-up to the release of Broken Roads, why not find out more about the game while watching it in action? In our first episode of WellPlayed Talkthrough, we were joined by Drop Bear Bytes Co-Founder and Game Director Craig Ritchie, playing through a portion of the game while chatting about its development.
