A Fart Fetish Twitter Account Has Shared Lost Media Of Ugly Sonic

The 2020 Sonic the Hedgehog movie was an anomaly for many reasons. For one, it turned out to be a genuinely good movie – and two, it somehow survived the worst reveal of all time.

The initial trailer debuted a nightmarish Hollywood’ised Sonic, with hideous human teeth and weird gangly proportions. All the tell-tale signs of weirdo producer meddling for the sake of making a film have “wider audience appeal.”

But then, Sonic was redeveloped into something far more familiar, far more fun and a great deal less weird. 

It was so uniquely odd that people started to consider that maybe ‘Ugly Sonic’ was a diabolical marketing stunt – especially considering the apparent lack of Ugly Sonic production details. I mean, there are a paltry amount of behind-the-scenes items on the DVD special features, but hardly enough to paint a proper picture of what we were in for, pre-pivot.

Until now, when a fart-fetish Twitter/X account started posting behind the scenes items from the films initial production.

No no, you read that right.

Now, the account itself is intended to be an anonymous place for the user, doctor caboose, to enjoy all things fragrant and caboose-originating. That is to say – it is fart focused.

However, a swerve in the usual programming came when the doc claimed that the world was clamouring for this stuff, and so now a thread exists that highlights a healthy portion of Sonic Movie 1 test footage.

As the account is anonymous, and not prone to sharing – we have linked the outcome above, but will not be embedding it. While the account might be toot-friendly, the thread of Sonic media is entirely fragrance free. Just images of sets, storyboards and the terrifyingly ugly Version.1 Sonic the Human-hog.

It is beyond weird to see these relics of the past dug up in such a unique place – considering it is a social feed dedicated to gas. The doc even states that there is a video to come later, once all mention of personal information is scrubbed from the footage.

I mean, of course, he doesn’t want to reveal his identity as the ugly Sonic leaker alongside the unmasking of himself as a proud poot enjoyer, right?

To each their own. And on this day, we remember: that live-action Sonic design genuinely stinks.
