October marks the start of the spooky season, which means there’s no better time to play a game with spooks. Amnesia: Rebirth, the latest game in Frictional Games’ horror series is launching on October 20 on PS4, PC, Mac, and Linux.
After previously relying on teaser trailers, yesterday the studio released a trailer showing off five minutes gameplay footage, which in traditional Amnesia style is unsettling.
Set in the Algerian desert, Amnesia: Rebirth follows the journey of Tasi Trianon, “as she sets out on a harrowing journey through devastation and despair, personal terror and pain, while exploring the limits of human resilience.”
Creative director Thomas Grip revealed more about the game’s development on a PlayStation Blog post yesterday which is worth a read for Amnesia fans.
