Battlefield 2042’s Long-Awaited Scoreboard Update Is Going Live Tonight

Better late than never

DICE has announced that Battlefield 2042’s update 3.3, which will introduce the refreshed scoreboard, will go live on all platforms tonight.

The update is set to go live at 7pm AEDT tonight and finally add in the refreshed scoreboard that was announced back in January. Update 3.3 will also implement a number of minor bug fixes as well as reward players who purchased the Gold Edition, Ultimate Edition, Year 1 Pass, Year 1 Pass, Ultimate Pack upgrade or EA Play Pro subscribers with the Steadfast Bundle as a thank you for sticking with the title through its tumultuous launch.

The Steadfast Bundle includes:

  • Zero Resistance Skin for Mackay
  • Grasshopper Weapon Skin for the K30
  • Rapid Hammer Weapon Skin for the M44
  • Iron Chariot Vehicle Skin for the M5C Bolte
  • Rib Tickler Melee Weapon Skin
  • Resolute Player Card Background
  • The Steadfast Player Card Icon

The post makes it clear that the scoreboard design will likely change over time, but here’s what you can look forward to with update 3.3:

Update 3.3 was originally slated to go live in late February before DICE delayed its launch into this month. Though many would say that the scoreboard should’ve been in the game from launch, it’s good to see that DICE are seemingly committed to rehabilitating 2042.
