All of the talented crew that has been shaping and shipping the Mortal Kombat series of late have kome together in a rad video that thanks all the fans that have kept the blood flowing for the last 30 years.
Tweeted by none other than Ed Boon himself, he also mentions that a tease of what is to come appears at the end – so all rabid Mortal Kombat 12 enjoyers can finally feast!

You may be wondering where the “(not so subtle) tease of what’s koming” is within the video. Well, you know at the very end? That grain of sand?
That was it.
For people familiar with the modern timeline of the game series, you can accept that it is very likely sand from Kronika’s Hourglass – the macguffin that helped usher in all the whacky time bullshit that permeated Mortal Kombat 11. And it was solidly amazing bullshit, allowing awesome character introductions and interactions – so seeing it return for the next entry excites me greatly.
Just… maybe next time we can get a reveal or tease that is a little more substantial. Seriously, Ed – It’s a grain of sand bro.
