Cyberpunk 2077’s Nu-Gen Versions Release Could Be Just Around The Corner

It can’t be far away

The highly anticipated PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version of Cyberpunk 2077 (free upgrade for existing owners) may not be too far away.

Although an early 2022 release in itself isn’t exactly news given that CD Projekt Red stated that was the case back in November, however with the game’s history you can forgive people for being a little cautious.

Further solidifying that the game’s nu-gen version could be just around the corner, the Twitter page PlayStation Game Size has uncovered a PS5 native version on the PlayStation database alongside a new piece of key art.

Although Cyberpunk 2077’s launch was one to forget, with the studio still suffering from the negative impacts, the game seems to have found a new lease on life on Steam, which hopefully bodes well for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. In saying that, I’d be surprised if CDPR put the upgraded game to duke it out with games such as Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring in late February. A March release does seem more reasonable.
