Dying Light 2’s Collector’s Edition Will Keep The Zombies Away For A Price

It’s been a busy morning for fans waiting for more info on Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Not only did we get a tasty gameplay trailer and that new subtitle, but we also got a December 7, 2021 release date. If your excitement has gone into overdrive for Techland’s new parkour zombie game now that we have more info and a release date, I’ve got some expensive news for you.

Announced alongside the release date, Dying Light 2: Stay Human is getting a very cool and very practical (not really) Collector’s Edition. The main event in this bad boy is the “Defender of the City” statue that features Dying Light 2’s protagonist, Aiden Caldwell, launching off of a light post as he fights a vicious Volatile. Anyone who’s played the original game would know that these night-stalking nightmares are bad news, but they are susceptible to UV light, which is why the statue’s light post acts as an actual UV lamp.

Sure, that’ll have you covered if you’re stationary, but how will you protect yourself against the Volatiles if you need to grab a snack in the middle of the night? Don’t stress, the CE also comes with a UV torch. Including plenty of other goodies listed below, this package doesn’t come cheap, setting you back AU$399.95 on PS5, PS4,  Xbox Series X&S/Xbox One or PC.
