It’s Been A Day, Thanos Already Nerfed In Fortnite

Apparently being a cosmic god of destruction has it’s limitations.

Dropping by FortniteBR subreddit, Epic Games employee JustMooney1 posted:

Heya folks,

We’ve just pushed a hotfix that will make the following changes to Thanos in the new Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup:

Shield cap decreased from 300 to 200.
Max Health increased from 700 to 800.
Laser damage vs. players decreased from 15 to 12.
We’re going to continue monitoring feedback.

Good luck and have fun!

The reception? You’d think people would be praising that the unstoppable titan was slightly less unstoppable – but this isn’t the case at all. In fact, many players are complaining that the Mad Titan feels too easy.

Plenty of players expressed different opinions, but a general consensus seems to communicate that our boy grimace should really be a hard bastard:

My own experience with Thanos ended exceptionally quickly, so it definitely felt accurate. He also took the time to make it rain:

So, seems fine to me?

The “Infinity Gauntlet” mode is available for free across all Battle Royale-friendly platforms (i.e. PS4, Xbox, PC, Mac, and iOS) after May 8th.
