Developer Kinetic Games has announced that the console release of its popular horror title Phasmophobia has been delayed. It will now launch on PS5, PSVR 2 and Xbox Series X|S in the week leading up to Halloween in October.
A short statement posted to X (Twitter) revealed that this delay is largely due to a fire that broke out in the office building where the team is located. This, combined with “unpredicted development issues,” has pushed the game’s console release out of August and into a very stacked October. Luckily, the week before Halloween certainly suits the ghost-hunting game.
