Phamophobia’s Console Launch Has Been Hit With A Short Delay

Into the spooky month

Developer Kinetic Games has announced that the console release of its popular horror title Phasmophobia has been delayed. It will now launch on PS5, PSVR 2 and Xbox Series X|S in the week leading up to Halloween in October.

A short statement posted to X (Twitter) revealed that this delay is largely due to a fire that broke out in the office building where the team is located. This, combined with “unpredicted development issues,” has pushed the game’s console release out of August and into a very stacked October. Luckily, the week before Halloween certainly suits the ghost-hunting game.

Have you played Phasmophobia on PC? Are you looking forward to playing it on a console? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
