Oh boy, more free Sonic Frontiers content is coming in the form of a new story-based DLC – with the ominous title of ‘The Final Horizon’.
A short CGI trailer was shown at Gamescom to introduce us to a new menacing threat that serves to be a major concern for our favourite animal mates, with Dr. Eggman and Sage seemingly joining the fight also:
The coolest part of this DLC is the promise that it will be offering new playable characters as part of the update, with a previous roadmap image even displaying Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Sage alongside such a detail.
This is the third content package that has been made available for Sonic Frontiers and promises to be the most substantial – the other DLCs mostly included fun additional modes and toys for the game rather than a narrative experience, so seeing what next chapter awaits is exciting.
