ORIGINAL STORY FOLLOWS
The freshly announced Star Wars: Squadrons has been plagued with leaks leading up to its big reveal trailer dropping tomorrow (June 16).
The leaks haven’t stopped just because we’re hours from our first look either, as IGN posted an article containing numerous key details about the game, before quickly taking it down. The now-dead link can be found HERE.
The article described Squadrons as “a first-person space dogfighting game set after the events of Return of the Jedi”. The game will apparently feature a singleplayer story as well as numerous multiplayer modes (with crossplay included).
Speaking of which, the article also states that the game will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and will also have VR compatibility for both PS4 and PC.
Last but not least, the article states that Squadrons will launch on October 2, 2020, for US$39.99 (around A$60). Gameplay will closely follow the reveal trailer, with EA apparently set to show us the game in action during the EA Play event on June 19.
