Suicide Squad And Gotham Knights Are Set To Appear At DC FanDome This October

Both Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Gotham Knights have been confirmed to appear at DC FanDome on October 17. The event kicks off at 3am and will run for around four hours, with the full schedule to be released soon.

This will be the second DC FanDome livestream to take place, with last year’s inaugural event containing the announcement of Gotham Knights, the co-op Batman action game being developed by WB Montreal. Though you won’t actually be able to play as the Caped Crusader, players will get to choose from Red Hood, Batgirl, Robin and Nightwing.

Originally set to release in 2021, the game did get pushed back into 2022, so an update at FanDome will be greatly appreciated.

Announced just prior to last year’s FanDome, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will also be making an appearance at this year’s big DC event. A one to four-player co-op game, Suicide Squad will have you and up to three mates playing as Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and (my main man) King Shark, as they attempt to take down a seemingly mind-controlled Justice League.

We’ve only received one cinematic trailer for Kill the Justice League, so I’m keen to see what Rocksteady have to show us during Fandome. With any luck, they’ve taken into account some of the ideas that I put forward in a wishlist that I wrote last year.

In other, non-gaming related DC FanDome news, The Batman, Black Adam, the Peacemaker TV show and the animated Harley Quinn series are all scheduled to appear in one form or another during the livestream, so it’ll be a big day for DC fans like myself.
