Developer Rocksteady Studios has announced that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed and will now release on February 2, 2024.
Following reports that the upcoming co-op action title had been pushed back from its May 26 after a lukewarm reception to the latest gameplay trailer, the title has been officially shifted into next year.
The statement from Rocksteady doesn’t explicitly state the reason for the delay, instead proclaiming that the extra time will allow the team to “work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players.”

Many who were initially excited by Suicide Squad have cooled off on the game after seeing the live service direction it’s heading in. While it would be optimistic to think that this delay will correct the course of the game, it’s far more likely that this time will be used to polish the experience and fix bugs.
