Turn-Based RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Has Landed An April Release Date

The expedition is gearing up to set out

Developer Sandfall Interactive has announced that its debut turn-based RPG, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, will be released on April 24 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

During this morning’s Xbox Developer Direct, the team at French studio Sandfall Interactive stepped forward to show off their impressive-looking debut game, filled with impressive visuals and a frankly wild voice cast, including Ben Starr, Charlie Cox, and Andy Serkis. This morning’s new look at the game revealed that each playable character will come with their own mechanics, skills and play styles.

We also saw the combat’s real-time elements in action. Players are given a window to parry or dodge attacks, with the timing changing depending on the chosen difficulty. Alongside the various unique mechanics and varied character sets, the turn-based battles have the potential to be something special.
