Dead Island 2 Has Been Officially Re-Announced With Two New Trailers

California bleeding

Deep Silver has announced that Dead Island 2 will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on February 3.

Announced during Gamescom Opening Night Live, the long-dormant zombie-killing sequel has now officially been re-announced after last week’s leak.

Popping back up with two awesome trailers, Dead Island 2 is set in Los Angeles, loving referee to as HELL-A, where players are thrown into a zombie-infested sandbox filled with insane melee weapons and crazy ways to dispatch the undead. The cinematic trailer introduces us to one of the six playable characters, Jacob, living the high life in LA by going on a shopping (and killing) spree.

Following the cinematic trailer, we got to take a look at how the game plays, with a gameplay trailer (shocker, I know). Using an array of brutal melee weapons, we see zombies being destroyed in creative and violent ways. The game’s visuals are bright and vibrant and the gore is visceral, so after all this time, I think it’s ok to be excited for Dead Island 2 again.
