Quantum Error A Cosmic Horror First-Person Shooter Announced For PS4/PS5

Cosmic horror FPS? Count me in

Part of the excitement of ushering in a new console generation is waiting for the wave of new titles to roll in. We’ve had looks at People Can Fly’s new third-person shooter Outridersthe beautiful RPG Godfall and seen a haunting trailer for the followup to Hellblade, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II to name a few.

Well, now we have another game to look to the horizon for in the form of Quantum Error, a ‘cosmic horror’ first-person shooter from developers TeamKill Media, releasing on PS4 and PS5.

TeamKill are responsible for the dark-fantasy survival horror title Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris, so they have experience in the horror genre, but not specifically in the cosmic space.

The short teaser trailer for Quantum Error shows a rather distressed fellow with a shotgun wandering around a fairly rundown station of some sort, complete with bloody bodies and creepy crawlers scuttling on the walls. A creepy setting with a tense atmosphere and a cosmic horror hook, I’m in for sure. Give the announcement trailer a look below:

There is no date given for Quantum Error as of yet, but we do know that it will be launching on both PS4 and PS5. If you want to stay up to date with the title, head on over its website HERE.

What do you make of the trailer? Does a cosmic horror first-person shooter interest you? Let us know.
