Amazon has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Fallout TV series.
A short teaser trailer has dropped only a few short days after Vanity Fair’s lengthy first-look article gave us stills from the anticipated adaptation. The two-minute trailer shows protagonist Lucy MacLachlan venturing out of Vault 33 and into the wasteland, some 200 years after the bombs dropped across the world. As Lucy gets startled by everything, down to a tumbleweed, we get to see various members of the Brotherhood of Steel stomp around in the iconic Power Armour, while the Ghoulish Goggins chews up the screen, both in noseless and pre-ghoul forms.

There are a few hints at Fallout’s off-kilter humour in the trailer, alongside plenty of recognisable beasties (like the Radroach), weapons and imagery. It’s too early to pass judgement, but we here at the WellPlayed offices will stay cautiously optimistic for now.
