Mortal Kombat 2 Has Found Its Shao Kahn, King Jerrod, Sindel And Quan Chi

A report from Deadline has confirmed that the sequel to the 2021 Mortal Kombat film has locked in four actors to portray pivotal roles in the upcoming follow-up.

According to the report, Martyn Ford (F9: The Fast Saga) will play the Outworld ruler Shao Kahn, Desmond Chiam (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) will play Edenia’s King Jarrod, Ana Thu Nguyen (Suka) will play Queen Sindel, and Damon Herriman (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) will play the Netherrealm schemer and all-around arse hat, Quan Chi.

These four actors join several other new additions, such as Karl Urban (The Boys) as Johnny Cage, Tati Gabrielle (Uncharted) as Jade and Adeline Rudolph (Resident Evil) and Kitana. Director Simon McQuoid is returning to the director’s chair for the sequel, with Moon Knight’s Jeremey Slater penning the story.
